【研究方向及興趣】心血管代謝疾病早期防治
　　長期從事心血管代謝性疾病發病機制及其早期防治研究，圍繞“營養代謝在心血管代謝綜合征早期防治中的作用”這一核心科學問題，基于大規模人群隊列，結合基因改造小鼠和原代細胞模型，綜合運用流行病學、生物信息學以及分子生物學等多學科交叉技術和方法在心血管代謝綜合征新型生物标志物、早期防治靶點、以及個體化早期防治方面開展了全面系統的研究。所在研究團隊現已建立了11萬人華南地區自然人群前瞻性隊列，廣東省心血管病隊列，相關生物樣本庫及高效的随訪追蹤系統。
