Biography
Professor JinJing is the head of the Department of Maternal and Child Health. Jin specializes in the field of neuropsychological characteristics of developmental and behavioral disorder and related treatment technologies. He has published 34 major books and over 350 publications. Jin received the fifth Soong Ching Ling Pediatrics Award (2010), won the title of Scientific Chinese of the Year (2014), National Advanced Worker in Mental Health (2004, 2006), Guangzhou Science and Technology Progress Award (2003), Science and Technology achievement prize of Ministry of Education (2000) and several other rewards. He has also served as the vice-director of both the Child and Adolescent Health Section and the China Preventive Medicine Association of Chinese Preventive Medicine Association (CPMA). Jin also works as a member of a council of many national institutes and the director of the Association for Rehabilitation of Autistic Children of the Association of Rehabilitation for People with Disabilities. He is the associate editor of Chinese Journal of Child Health Care and Chinese Mental Health Journal, and serves on the editorial board of Chinese journal of preventive medicine, Chinese Journal of Evidence Based Pediatrics and so on.
Professor Jin is in charge of seven National Natural Science Foundations of China and dozens of provincial projects. His recent research interest is neuropsychological characteristics and mechanism of the children with autism, attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder and learning disorder and the growth and development of children and adolescents.
